2011 Clutches 1 through 10

  Clutch #1 :: Spinnerfly x Pastel Clutch Hatched 5/27/11

First eggs of 2011! Six eggs from pastel female bred by a spinnerfly (fire + spider + pinstripe) male. It would be nice to get a four gene animal right out of the gate, fingers crossed!

No four gene animal in this clutch, and no pastel animals at all! 0.1 fire spider, 1.0 spinner, 1.0 pinstripe, 0.1 fire, and 1.0 normal hatched. The fire spider girl is the nicest I've seen!

  Clutch #2 :: Quenbee Het Ghost x Genetic Stripe Clutch Hatched 5/18/11

Easter eggs! Five eggs from a genetic stripe female bred by a queenbee het ghost male.

4.0 butterbees and 0.1 pastel hatched, all of these are 100% het for genetic stripe and 50% possible het ghost.

  Clutch #3 :: Champagne Het Ghost x Ghost Clutch Hatched 6/24/11

Five eggs from a ghost female bred by a champagne het ghost male, come on mimosas! One of the eggs is only partially formed, we'll see how it goes.

Two eggs went bad, but three was enough! 0.1 mimosa, 1.0 champagne het ghost, and 0.1 het ghost hatched. Check out the rigner on the mimosa!

  Clutch #4 :: Pewter Het Pied x Het Pied Clutch Hatched 7/19/11

Five eggs and two slugs from a het pied female bred by a pewter het pied male.

Two eggs went bad, but 1.0 pastel pied, 0.1 cinnamon 66% het pied, and 0.1 pastel 66% het pied hatched. The pastel 66% het pied was an an egg that was moldy on one end, sometimes stress in the egg causes some wacky patterns!

  Clutch #5 :: Pastel Yellowbelly Genetic Stripe x Het Genetic Stripe Clutch Hatched 6/23/11

Eight eggs from a het genetic stripe female bred by a pastel yellowbelly genetic stripe male.

Wow, what an amazing clutch! 2.1 pastel yellowbelly genetic stripes, 2.0 pastel genetic stripes, 0.1 yellowbelly genetic stripe, 1.0 genetic stripe, and 0.1 pastel het genetic stripe hatched. I can't believe that 7 out of 8 hatchlings are genetic stripes or better!

Also, the female that laid this clutch started out as a 50% possible het that I proved out in 2009. In her first clutch she produced 4 genetic stripes out of 5 eggs. Now she's laid 13 eggs total and produced 11 genetic stripes!

  Clutch #6 :: Spinnerfly x Normal Clutch Hatched 6/23/11

Nine eggs from a normal female bred by a spinnerfly (fire + spider + pinstripe) male.

0.1 spinnerfly, 0.1 fire pinstripe, 1.0 spinner, 1.3 fires, and 2.0 normals hatched. The fire pin girl has a cool orange ringer spot.

  Clutch #7 :: Champagne Het Ghost x Ghost Clutch Laid 6/2/11

Five more eggs from champagne het ghost x ghost, five more shots at mimosas!

All of these eggs went bad, have to take the bad with the good I guess!

  Clutch #8 :: Double Het Albino Pied x Double Het Albino Pied Clutch Hatched 8/1/11

Five eggs from a double het albino pied female bred by a double het albino pied male. I produced these double hets in 2007, hopefully I can hit an albino pied!

I hit the albino pied, and it's a male!!! Unbelievable! 1.0 albino pied and 4.0 66% possible double hets hatched.

  Clutch #9 :: Het Clown x Possible Het Clown Clutch Hatched 8/7/11

Four eggs and one slug from a possible het clown female bred by a het clown male. Some eggs were connected by fibrous egg material, weird!

Swing and a miss, 1.0 poss het clown hatched, the other eggs went bad.

  Clutch #10 :: Queenbee Het Ghost and Super Pastel Special x Pastel Clutch Hatched 8/16/11

Seven eggs and one slug from a pastel female bred mostly by a queenbee het ghost male. A super pastel special did breed this girl once though, so it's possible there could be some pastel specials or super pastel specials in this clutch.

Queenbee het ghost male all the way, 0.1 queenbee, 0.1 super pastel butter, 0.1 pastel butter, 0.1 bumblebee, 0.1 butter, and 0.2 pastels hatched. All of these are 50% possible het ghost. Nice all girl clutch!
